When a child scores in the “concerning” area on the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) an immediate referral to appropriate community agency is necessary.
Health Care Providers, Child Care Providers and Community Members from across the state of Colorado have praised the ASQ, saying that it eliminates guesswork and enables families to be connected to services they need and are entitled to at the earliest opportunity.
Standardized Developmental Screening results should always be shared with the child’s pediatric health care provider.
